Lion's journey from medieval bestiary page to your home - new product by Yanka!

February was a busy month, and there were news that I should share with you but didn't. Several finished products, new jewelry pictures, etc., but you already know it if you saw our home page, 'cause whatever happens but the Home Page always gets its updates. But what about the medieval lion? Sorry, I got distracted again, and here it is, hand-painted by Yanka on the lid of this small keepsake box.
The background is painted with shimmering gold acrylic paint, and the lion and flowers are bright and shiny. Medieval illuminations look rather pale and desaturated to us today, but I believe that they were as colorful and as impressive as this little lion on a keepsake box in their own time.
