Soft Crochet Summer Top – Nautical-Inspired Striped Crop Blouse in Blue and White
I crocheted this light, breezy top using soft cotton-blend yarn in sky blue and white. The zigzag stripes came naturally - somewhere between waves and sailor stripes, and I loved how fresh and calm the color combination turned out.
It’s a cropped fit with a V neckline and short sleeves - simple, light, and just the thing for sunny days. The yarn is soft against the skin, and the crochet stitch makes it breathable and easy to wear.
Lately, there’s a lot of love for handmade crochet wear in fashion - you’ll see similar shapes and textures in many designer collections. I think it’s because these pieces feel honest. You can see the time in the stitches. You can feel the care.
This top is made to fit size S/M and is slightly stretchy for comfort. It’s one of a kind - just like all my pieces - and I don't plan to make another exactly like it soon.
