Tiny adorable teddy bear crocheted from fluffy mohair yarn
I love small things and most of my amigurumi creatures are rather small. These adorable little bears aren't an exception, each one size is approximately 10 x 7 cm (4 x 2.8 inches) and it fits easily into the palm of your hand.
It can be a nice playmate for a kid but I don't recommend giving it (or any other mohair creation) to a baby. Mohair yarn is really fluffy, and though it looks nice and gives a good impression of real fur, babies can choke on it. Anyway, these tiny bears have safety eyes and nose that won't fall apart or peel off. When I create things I think of sustainability, I want them to last and to bring joy and happiness to their owners for a long time.
I personally see my amigurumi as gifts for adults because I know myself that adults also need support and joy. I call them 'pocket friends' or 'desktop companions', and want them to be different and have a special character.
So here's one small brown bear and one small grey bear, cute, fluffy, a little bit sad and touching, looking for a new home and a human each one could make smile.
