I have three cats, and they always try to 'help me' with everything I do, especially with my arts and crafts. But I love them, so I decided to create this little, bright, colorful artwork for people who also love cats.
I took a free coloring page with a cat image and used the grattage technique to create my artwork. I used wax crayons on paper and draw the cute cat by removing the black crayon wherever needed. Then the colorful background showed up and created this beautiful rainbow-like effect.
The artwork is framed in a wooden black frame with glass.
Its total size is 9.45 x 12.2 inches (24 x 31 cm) and the size of the artwork itself is 5.9 x 8.65 inches (22 x 15 cm).
