I crocheted it from fluffy mohair yarn, black with bright purple patches, so I called it 'The Mystic Cat' because of the peculiar colors. Every time I look at it it makes me smile, even my husband says that it is his favorite amigurumi toy.
This little amigurumi cat is a perfect cuddle companion, and though it is generally child-safe (his eyes are but two beads firmly sewn to its body) I'd rather imagine it cheering an adult person on some other day.
Tip: If it ever becomes less fluffy you can help it with a piece on Velcro strip. Just tap it few times letting it to cling lightly, and you'll see the fluffiness return.
