Victorian-Inspired Charoite Necklace – Bead-Embroidered Statement Jewelry in Shades of Purple
There’s something mesmerizing about charoite—the way its swirling purple patterns catch the light, shifting between deep violet and soft lavender. I created this one-of-a-kind bead-embroidered necklace to highlight the natural beauty of this rare Russian gemstone, surrounding it with a shimmering bezel of faceted silver crystals and rich purple Miyuki beads. The mix of textures and tones gives the pendant a Victorian elegance, bold yet refined.
The pendant hangs from a black silky spiral cord, soft to the touch and finished with silver-tone caps and a lobster claw clasp for a secure fit. The back is lined with smooth black faux leather, ensuring comfort while keeping the piece sturdy and well-finished.
Charoite was first discovered in Russia in the late 1970s, and to this day, it remains one of the rarest gemstones, found nowhere else in the world. Often called the Stone of Change, it is believed to transform negative energy into positive, bringing clarity and strength in difficult times. Whether or not you believe in the power of gemstones, there’s no denying the beauty of this striking purple stone.
