Silver Flower Pendant with Star Diopside - Handcrafted and One of a Kind
This pendant is one of those pieces that seemed to shape itself as I worked on it. I designed it in the form of a stylized flower, made from textured sterling silver, and placed a single black star diopside gemstone at the center, like a dark and glowing core.
The stone is large and full of presence—deep black, with a silvery star that seems to float gently inside it when seen under direct light. Star diopside is known for this optical effect, called asterism. It’s rare and very beautiful, and I always thought it looks like something quiet and powerful is held just beneath the surface.
Some say star diopside is a grounding stone, one that brings calm and clarity. I can’t speak for that with certainty, but I do feel that it holds something still and steady—something that doesn’t shout but doesn’t waver either.
When creating jewelry, I always match the design to the stone, and it makes every one of my pieces one of a kind.
