Original Handcrafted Sterling Silver Agatized Coral Pendant Necklace Fern
Stunning medium size necklace with large sterling silver pendant. Roughly triangular perfectly polished fossilized and agatized coral gemstone with unusual fern leaves pattern encased in yellowish-brown transparent stone is set in a silver bezel setting and soldered to silver plate cut and textured to look like the natural continuation of the fern pattern. The pendant is suspended from two pieces of braided leather cord with a silver clasp and findings.
This special and beautiful necklace calls to mind strong associations with Nature. Fossilized coral is a natural gemstone that forms when ancient coral is slowly replaced with agate during the ages. It’s usually cut to remind little flowers, and the fern pattern is very uncommon and rare.
