Gold and Deep Purple Beaded Collar Necklace – Wide Geometric Pattern
I made this necklace as a wide collar, woven from small beads on a thread so it lies flat and follows the line of the neck. It sits close without feeling heavy, and the shape comes from the weave itself, not from any rigid base.
The colors are warm gold and a deep, slightly muted purple that can look almost metallic in certain light. Together they form a steady geometric pattern that catches the eye. When the light moves across the surface, the beads reflect it in many small points, giving a soft, even shine.
Although the piece is wide, it stays light and easy to wear. The edges remain flexible, and the whole collar rests naturally rather than holding a fixed, stiff form. It feels closer to fabric than to something solid, with a gentle movement that follows the body.
What I like here is how these small beads, simple on their own, come together into something full and present. There is a quiet richness in the way it spreads around the neck, in the warm gold shine, in the gentle shimmer, and in the steady, almost ethnic rhythm of the pattern.
It works easily with everyday clothing, especially darker tones where the gold and purple stand out clearly, but it also sits well against lighter fabrics.
