Sterling Silver Flower Earrings with Antique Persian Turquoise – Handcrafted One of a Kind Jewelry
These earrings may look simple at first - just silver flowers with soft curves - but they hold something quite rare in the center: antique Persian turquoise.
I found the stones in a pair of old heirloom earrings. The turquoise is real, untreated, and gently aged. You can still see that unmistakable pale sky blue with subtle white veining - just the way natural Persian turquoise is supposed to look. These gems were once mined in the Nishapur region of Iran, but those mines have been mostly depleted for years now. Today, most of what’s called "Persian turquoise" on the market isn’t really from there, or it’s treated, dyed, or imitation. That’s why I was so happy to give these two stones a new home.
I designed and made these earrings from scratch, shaping each flower petal by hand and giving the stones a high bezel setting to gently frame them. The result is something that feels clean and calm, but also rich with quiet detail, dignified and noble.
