Unique Color Pencil Artwork Featuring Abe no Seimei
Original color pencil artwork portraying Abe no Seimei, the renowned Japanese onmyōji. Created on textured paper, it emanates a warm and inviting aura.
Abe no Seimei is elegantly attired in traditional onmyōji robes and headgear. His visage radiates kindness and wisdom, while his eyes gleam with profound intelligence.
In the backdrop, intricate symbols and diagrams, synonymous with onmyōdō, the Japanese occult practice mastered by Abe no Seimei, come to life. These symbols represent the harmonious interplay of nature's elements and the mystical forces harnessed by Seimei.
I also gave him a fox and a toad as the right companions for a great sage.
I love the story of Abe no Seimei and painted this artwork with great attention to detail. The colors employed are vivid and captivating, and I employed diverse range of techniques to breathe life into this realistic portrayal.
