Original handcrafted filigree pendant necklace with lab created morganite gemstone
Ever since I've bought this huge, peach color lab created morganite gemstone, I dreamed of creating a special, truly one of a kind pendant with it. It took me some time to decide on the design, but then I rescued 2 little kittens, and had to forget about doing silversmithing at home. Luckily at almost the same time I've found a wonderful little jewelry workshop, and they agreed to do this job for me.
So this sterling silver filigree pendant with morganite was created by me in collaboration with local 'Jewelers Square' workshop.
Lab created gemstones are real, they have the same chemical, optical and physical characteristics as stones dug from the ground, but usually they are larger, they have fewer flaws and their color is more dark and intense. This huge morganite has deep peach color, but look at the pictures and see how flashy and bright it is!
I love its bold flair and didn't want to restrain it so I designed this airy, intricate filigree form, and I think that the pendant had turned truly special and one of a kind.
It is sold together with a sterling silver chain seen in the pictures.

I forgot to weigh and measure the morganite gemstone before setting it, but you can imagine its size!
